Frequently asked questions
- When can I get Maquette Studio?
- It is not released yet. It is coming soon to the App Store.
- Which devices does it run on?
-
iPad, iPhone and Mac. iPad is the main platform, built for touch and Apple Pencil; iPhone runs the same app, and the Mac has its own native version. One purchase covers all three when you use the same Apple Account.
Current builds need iPadOS 26 or iOS 26 or later, and macOS 14 Sonoma or later on the Mac. The App Store listing will show the final requirements.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. It is free to download, with a one-time purchase that unlocks the full app. Apple handles the payment, and refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Where do my files live?
-
On your device. Scenes, saved poses, body presets and preferences are kept in the app's own storage, and the scene you are working on comes back when you reopen the app. Deleting the app deletes all of it, so use Save Scene to keep a copy in Files, iCloud Drive or a folder on your Mac.
Exports go only where you share or save them.
- Which figures can I use?
- VRM (0.x and 1.0) and glTF binary (.glb) models, plus the figures that come with the app. Models from other websites keep their own licences, so check what each one allows.
- Does the app collect my data?
- No personal data, and there is no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. Anonymous crash and performance reports from Apple's MetricKit are sent to a server operated for the app, and you can turn them off in Settings. Pose From Photo runs on the device and never uploads the photo. The Privacy Policy has the details.
