Terms of Use

Effective 9 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Maquette Studio for iPad, iPhone and Mac (the “app”) and of this website, getmaquette.app, both provided by the developer of Maquette Studio (the “developer”). By downloading or using the app, or by using this website, you agree to these terms.

Licence

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA; where the two conflict, the Standard EULA governs your use of the app.

Purchases and refunds

The app is free to download. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the full app. There is no subscription. The price is shown on the App Store before you buy.

Apple processes the purchase, and the developer never receives your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The purchase belongs to your Apple Account and covers the app on iPad, iPhone and Mac when you use the same account on each.

Your work

Scenes, poses, renders and other exports you make with the app belong to you. The developer claims no ownership of them. Your use of them is subject only to the rights in any figures, props or images you put into them.

Bundled figures and poses

The figures, poses and other content that come with the app are provided under their own licences, which can differ from these terms. On iPad and iPhone they are listed under Settings > Credits & Licences. The Mac app includes its list in the LICENSES.txt file inside the application.

Figures and files you import

You are responsible for the models, props, images and poses you import, including those downloaded from third-party websites, and for making sure that your use of them, and of anything you export with them, respects their licences and terms. Many VRM models state their own conditions of use in their metadata. The developer does not review, host or license content you import.

The app links to websites where you can find models. Those sites are run by others, and their own terms apply there.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app or this website to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.

Updates and availability

The app may be updated, and its features may change between versions. The developer does not guarantee that the app will remain available or that it will support every device or operating system version.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your files will never be lost. Keep copies of work that matters to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, work or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. If you keep using the app or this website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
